The City of Ojai Arts Commission is proud to announce that applications for the 2019 City of Ojai Art Grant Program are available as of July 16, 2018.

The program is designed to fund individual artists and non-profit organizations that produce or present the arts and/or cultural programs that primarily benefit the City and Ojai’s residents. The program has helped many organizations and individuals produce successful arts and cultural programs that otherwise might not have occurred due to lack of funding. 2018 recipients included the Ojai Youth Opera, the Ojai Music Festival, Focus and the Madrigali.

Requirements include that grantees provide a dollar-for-dollar match for the amount requested funding and must complete their project within 2019. To view the guidelines please click here. All completed applications must be received at Ojai City Hall by 5:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2018 for the 2019 calendar year. Postmarks will not be accepted.

An optional grant application workshop is scheduled on Monday, August 13 from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm at City Hall, located at 401 S. Ventura Street.
