The peak of the storm has gone through SB and Ventura Counties this morning and is now into LA County.  High flows remain in numerous streams, but the flows are now receding. Flows in the Sespe Creek and Santa Clara River will continue to rise however are not anticipated to reach flood stage. Moderate occasional showers are likely through Sunday morning before a final round of light showers on Monday and Tuesday. Dry conditions are expected to return by mid-week.

El Servicio Metrológico Nacional se está pronosticando una serie de tormentas que traerá lluvia intense y nieve en las montañas con la posibilidad de que haya vientos dañosos en el Condado de Ventura empezando esta noche, el viernes, el 1 de febrero, del 2019 hasta la tarde del domingo, el 3 de febrero del 2019. Se emitió una alerta de inundación repentina para unas áreas del Condado de Ventura debido a que se espera intensidades de lluvia de 0.5” hasta 1.0” por hora, con posibles intensidades más fuertes en Los Padres National Forest. Existe la posibilidad de flujos de lodo y escombros localizados en las áreas quemadas por los incendios Thomas, Hill y Woolsey. Se espera flujos grandes para el rio Ventura, el arroyo San Antonio, el arroyo Sespe y el rio Santa Clara. Los totales de lluvia serán entre 1.5” hasta 3.0” para la costa y las colinas de la costa, con un posible total de 5.0” en las montañas Santa Mónica, y más que 7.0” en las montañas norte de Ojai.
