Ventura County Public Health Extends Indoor Mask Order

Ventura, CA – Ventura County Public Health has extended the indoor mask order, requiring all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, to wear face coverings when indoors in public settings, with limited exceptions. The order will continue to be in effect until October 19, 2021 or until it is extended, rescinded, superseded, or amended by the Health Officer. “There has been no significant improvement in the case rate and hospitalizations remain high,” said Public Health Officer Doctor Robert Levin.

Reminder: Free COVID-19 Testing Available on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 9:00 am. to 3:00 p.m. at Sarzotti Park.

The County of Ventura and COVID Clinics is offering free COVID-19 testing on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 9:00 am. to 3:00 p.m. at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Rd. Ojai, CA. 93023.

 

Testing is available to the public, including to those who have the slightest suspicion of having COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with it. You do not need to have health insurance to get tested, however, if you have health insurance, you will be asked you to share that information.

Save the Day for Ojai Day- Saturday, October 16, 2021 in Libbey Park

Ojai Day 2021 is right around the corner, so mark your calendars for the fun filled event! The event will take place in Libbey Park, 210 S. Signal Street, with the mandala painted around the Libbey Fountain Area, and will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The free outdoor community event will host a variety of local based vendors, local non-profits, school groups, live entertainment, and more.

The California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program: Now Covering 100% of Rent and Utilities for Income-Eligible Renters and Landlords.

The State of California has increased funding for income-eligible renters and their landlords who have been impacted by COVID-19 to cover 100% of unpaid and future rent or utilities.
