It’s Election Season: The Rules on Political Signs

Traffic Advisory: State Route 150 at Villanova Road Reduced to One Lane for Caltrans Work on Monday, September 19

On Monday, September 19, 2022, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) plans to reduce State Route 150 (SR 150) to one lane between Villanova Road and Loma Drive in the Mira Monte area of the Ojai Valley, with flaggers directing traffic in alternating directions.

The lane reduction will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m., all motorists should expect delays.

Caltrans will conduct the lane reduction in order to trim trees along the roadway.

Arts Commission to Extend Deadline to 2023 Arts Grant Applications

The City of Ojai Arts Commission is accepting applications for 2023 Arts Grants, from now through the extended application deadline of Friday, September 23, 2022. The grants, which are awarded each year at the December Ojai City Council meeting, help to ensure the vitality of the arts in the Ojai Valley. The City offers Art Grants each year as the budget allows.

The grant program funds non-profit arts organizations and individual artists whose primary purpose is to produce or present arts and cultural programs in the City of Ojai.
