With Spring beginning less than a month from now, the City of Ojai would like to remind residents that a working partnership between property owners, their neighbors, the City of Ojai and the Ventura County Fire Department is the best defense against disastrous fires.
A proposed change to the City of Ojai’s hotel tax, also known as the transient occupancy tax (TOT) rate will appear on the March 3, 2020 ballot as “Measure C.” This measure will provide the City of Ojai’s registered voters an opportunity to approve or disapprove a hotel tax increase from 10% to 15%.
The City of Ojai now has a drive-up ballot drop-off box available to the public, enabling vote-by-mail voters to drop off their mail-in ballots 24-7.
The 600-pound steel box is located on the City Hall campus,
