Helicopters: Southern California Edison Aerial Inspection Program Information

The City of Ojai has received inquiries about helicopters and drones flying overhead throughout the Ojai Valley. These helicopters and drones belong to Southern California Edison (SCE) and are conducting an aerial survey as part of SCE’s Enhanced Overhead Inspection (EOI) program of examining telephone poles and other equipment for possible upgrade or replacement.

Park Road to be Temporarily Closed as Part of the City’s Road Rehabilitation Project

Park Road will temporarily be closed through Monday, November 18, 2019 between Grand Avenue and Mountain View Avenue as part of the City’s road rehabilitation project.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time and consider using an alternate route.
