NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that at its Regular Meeting held on December 11, 2018, the City Council of the City of Ojai reorganized as follows:


John F. Johnston, Mayor

Suza Francina, Mayor Pro Tempore

Ryan Blatz, Council Member

Randy Haney, Council Member

William Weirick, Council Member


The Mayor is elected. The Mayor Pro Tempore is selected by the full City Council from among the four Council Members.

The Ojai Valley Museum and the City of Ojai Arts Commission would like to invite the public to the celebration of the new museum gates Saturday, December 15 at 11:00 a.m.


The gates are the result of a joint effort to add beauty and security to the historic building. They were created by local artist Doug Lochner of hand-forged steel and designed to echo the original design of the Museum.

Official Results of the November 6, 2018 General Municipal Election Now Available

Official, certified results of the four races for the City of Ojai from the November 6, 2018 General Municipal Election are available for viewing or to download, here.

The City of Ojai contracts with the County of Ventura Elections Division to provide election services, including a canvass of the votes cast in the General Municipal Election. The County has until December 6, 2018 to present the results of the canvass to each election jurisdiction.

City Hall Closed on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m

City Hall will be closed from 11:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018, for the City’s annual staff appreciation lunch.

The Police Department will remain open, and can be reached at 805-646-1414. Additionally, residents may call the City’s public works on-call line for any public works related emergencies 805-797-1150.
