Ojai City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in the City Council Chambers at Ojai City Hall, 401 S. Ventura St. in Ojai.
The hearing will be the third of four hearings to receive public testimony regarding draft district-based election maps to inform the City Council’s decision to choose one of the maps or direct amendments as necessary pursuant to Elections Code section 10010 and the California Voting Rights Act.
On Thursday and Friday, November 22 and 23, City Hall and all City offices will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving. All City offices will reopen on Monday, November 26,
The Humane Society of Ventura County (HSVC) has canceled its Santa Paws holiday photo-shoot event scheduled this Sunday, November 18, at its Ojai shelter, as its workers focus on emergency animal care in the wake of the Woolsey Fire.
The newly hung show at Ojai City Hall Gallery features the pastel landscape work of renowned Ojai Studio Artist, Tom Hardcastle. The exhibition will run through January 4, 2019, and is available to the public to view at any time during regular City Hall hours.
The Humane Society of Ventura County is open for Southern California fire evacuees who are in need of sanctuary for their dogs, cats, horses and other domesticated animals.
