County of Ventura to Open Fire Recovery Information Center in Ojai

December 14, 2017: VENTURA, Calif. – The County of Ventura will open an information center in Ojai next week to assist the residents of Ojai and the surrounding area who have been affected by the Thomas fire.

The center will be in a trailer parked adjacent to Ojai City Hall at 401 S. Ventura Street in Ojai.

The center will open Monday, Dec. 18, 2017 and operate through Friday, Dec. 22,

Emergency Temporary Childcare Service Available


The Ojai Recreation Department is offering childcare service Thursday, December 14th and Friday, December 15th in light of the Thomas Fire school closures.

Hours: 8 am-5:30 pm
Fee: $20 per day per child
Ages: 5-13 years
Location: The Boyd Center at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Road.

All fun activities will be held inside and air filter masks will be provided for free.
