City of Ojai Libbey Bowl Fee Waiver Applications Now Available

The 2022 City of Ojai Libbey Bowl fee waiver applications are now available. The primary purpose of the fee waiver program is to assist individuals, commercial entities and non-profit organizations that are producing arts, cultural and community events in the Libbey Bowl for the benefit of non-profit organizations and/or the Ojai community. Reminder: Free COVID-19 Testing Available on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 9:00 am. to 3:00 p.m. at Sarzotti Park.

The County of Ventura and COVID Clinics is offering free COVID-19 testing on Monday, October 4, 2021 from 9:00 am. to 3:00 p.m. at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Rd. Ojai, CA. 93023. Testing is available to the public, including to those who have the slightest suspicion of having COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with it. You do not need to have health insurance to get tested, however, if you have health insurance, you will be asked you to share that information.

California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program Still Available

Need help with unpaid rent or utilities? The CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program provides financial assistance for rent and utilities to income-eligible California renters and their landlords who have been impacted by COVID-19. Both renters and landlords can apply for assistance.

Visit https://housing.ca.gov/ to determine which program is right for you. For additional information, including eligibility and application help, call our CA COVID-19 Rent Relief Call Center at 833-430-2122.

City of Ojai’s Eviction Moratoriums Ends September 30, 2021

On September 30, 2021, the City of Ojai issued Director of Emergency Services Executive Order No. 21-02, bringing the City into alignment with the State of California and allowing for the expiration of the City’s eviction moratorium for both residential and commercial properties.

The City’s orders do provide tenants with a 6-month period to pay back-due rent following the expiration of the moratorium.  Tenants requiring rental assistance in Ventura County may call2-1-1 or visit the website 211ventura.org for resources.
