City of Ojai to hold “Emergency Preparedness Day” on May 27, 2021

The Ojai City Council has declared Thursday, May 27, 2021, as Emergency Preparedness Day in the City of Ojai. The City will partner with the Ojai Police Department, Ventura County Fire Department, and others to coordinate emergency preparedness activities and distribute emergency preparedness information, with the goal of preparing the community for potential emergency situations. The City will launch a new Emergency Preparedness webpage with useful information, prepare television, radio, and online messages, and schedule educational opportunities and demonstrations.

SBA Administrator Guzman Announces Application Opening for $28.6 Billion Restaurant Revitalization Fund (English Y Español)

On Tuesday, April 27, 2021 SBA Administrator Isabella Casillas Guzman  announced the U.S. Small Business Administration will begin registrations on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 9 a.m. EDT and open applications on Monday, May 3, 2021, at noon EDT for the Restaurant Revitalization Fund. The online application will remain open to any eligible establishment until all funds are exhausted.

Appointments Available for Pfizer Vaccines at Nordhoff High School This Saturday (May 1, 2021)

Additional appointments are now available for the Nordhoff High School vaccine clinic this Saturday (from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Please visit to make an appointment. The Pfizer vaccine will be available. The clinic is for individuals 16 and older that live or work in Ventura County.

Thank you to Ojai Hospital, Ventura County Public Health, and Ojai Unified School District for helping to bring these vaccines to the Ojai Valley.
