Ojai Day Event to Include a Free Movie at the Libbey Bowl- Saturday, October 16, 2021

Ojai Day is this Saturday (October 16, 2021), and we couldn’t be more excited! The event is going to filled with many attractions and family activities, including a FREE screening of COCO. Community members are welcome to come and enjoy a movie under the stars. There will be a food truck on site with popcorn, candy, and other tasty treats for purchase. Seating is limited and based on a first-come first-serve basis. Ghost stories by world-renowned storyteller Richard Senate are set to begin at 7:00 p.m.

Reminder: Free COVID-19 Testing Available on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 9:00 am. to 3:00 p.m. at Sarzotti Park.

The County of Ventura and COVID Clinics is offering free COVID-19 testing on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 from 9:00 am. to 3:00 p.m. at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Rd. Ojai, CA. 93023. Testing is available to the public, including to those who have the slightest suspicion of having COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with it. You do not need to have health insurance to get tested, however, if you have health insurance, you will be asked you to share that information.

UPDATE ON ALISAL FIRE

The City is in communication with Ventura County Fire Department regarding the Alisal fire. The fire is east of Goleta, close to El Capitan State Beach. The Ventura County Fire Department has indicated that there are currently no concerns for the Ojai Valley.  Smoke from the fire is blowing into Ventura County.
