The City of Ojai Establishes a Internship Program

The City of Ojai has established an unpaid, unbenefited internship program to provide qualified candidates a meaningful and educational work experience to supplement and enhance their academic careers. Additionally, the program will enable students to establish effective working relationships with professional staff, which could be beneficial for their future career development.

Interns will work hands on within city departments to complete projects, reports, assessments, and more. Every internship is unique and assignments will vary depending on which internship matches the candidate’s field.

[Español abajo] The Ventura County Health Care Agency is offering free COVID-19 testing on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Rd. Ojai CA. 93023. Testing is available to members of the public, including to those who have the slightest suspicion of having COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with it. Appointments are not required and you don’t need to have health insurance.

Reminder: County of Ventura Launches a Second COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant Program- English

The County of Ventura has launched a second COVID-19 Business Assistance Grant Program for businesses and nonprofit organizations that did not receive a grant during the County’s first program in 2020. The New American Rescue Plan Act Allocates $28.6 Billion to the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF)
