The Gas Line at Park Road and Grand Avenue has been Repaired

The gas line at the corner of Park Road and Grand Avenue has been repaired and the street is now open for traffic.  Service has been restored to most gas customers, and SCE is working on restoring power to those affected. Thanks for your patience as we worked with these crews to resolve these issues.

California’s Early Warning System for Earthquakes

Earthquake Warning California is managed by the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) and is the country’s first publicly available, statewide warning system. The warning system is designed to give California residents a few moments warning to take cover before shaking occurs.

To receive earthquake warnings, Californians can download the free MyShake App, which is available in the Apple App Store and Google Play store.

Gas Line Rupture – Park Road and Grand Avenue

The City has received reports of a 2 inch gas line rupture at the corner of Park Road and Grand. Traffic is being detoured while work is being done to repair the rupture. Please avoid the area at this time.

June 16, 2021 COVID-19 Update
