Reminder: Free COVID-19 Testing Available on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 10:00 am. to 4:00 p.m. at Sarzotti Park

[Español abajo] The Ventura County Health Care Agency is offering free COVID-19 testing on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Rd. Ojai CA. 93023. Testing is available to members of the public, including to those who have the slightest suspicion of having COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with it. Appointments are not required and you don’t need to have health insurance.

New Hi-Lo Evacuation Sirens Used in Ojai

The week of December 7, 2020, marked the three-year anniversary of the Thomas Fire, which, at the time, was the largest wildfire in California history. The fire severely impacted the Ojai Valley, causing many residents to be evacuated. State of California Allows Playgrounds to Remain Open Under COVID-19 Restrictions

The December 8, 2020 City Council meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, December 15, 2020

Tonight’s (12/8/2020) City Council meeting has been rescheduled to Tuesday, December 15, 2020 due to the impact of Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS). Several Ojai residents are currently without power due to the  PSPS, with some receiving estimates that their power will not return until late tonight or early tomorrow, and would therefore be unable to participate in the meeting. The City has rescheduled tonight’s meeting to next Tuesday to allow for full public participation.
