Public Safety Power Shutoff in Effect:

12/8/2020: The City of Ojai is in contact with Southern California Edison this morning, who has confirmed that parts of the Patricia circuit and the Thacher circuit have been taken out of service for a Public Safety Power Shutoff. These circuits are expected to impact some residents within the City of Ojai. There is not currently an estimated time for restoration. COVID-19 Testing Scheduled for Monday, December 7, 2020 in Ojai Postponed

The COVID-19 testing event scheduled for Monday, December 7, 2020 at Sarzotti Park has been postponed due to the high winds forecast. Although the testing event has been postponed, home testing kits will be distributed while supplies last.

Testing is scheduled to resume on Monday, December 14, 2020 at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Road, Ojai CA. 93023 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Additionally, the County of Ventura has expanded free COVID-19 testing throughout the county for residents who have the slightest suspicion of having COVID-19 or have been exposed to someone with it.

The City of Ojai has received an update regarding circuits being monitored for a potential public safety power shutoff. Currently, the Thacher circuit, which servers parts of the city and unincorporated portions of the County is on the monitor list.
