TEMPORARY LEAF BLOWER BAN TO CONTINUE THROUGH DECEMBER 24

On December 11, 2017, the City announced that leaf blowers have been temporarily prohibited due to poor air quality and the risk of spreading more ash, smoke and particulates into the air. The City stated that the ban would be in effect until at least December 17, 2017. Emergency Temporary Childcare Service Available

EMERGENCY TEMPORARY CHILDCARE SERVICE

The Ojai Recreation Department is offering childcare service Thursday, December 14th and Friday, December 15th in light of the Thomas Fire school closures.

Hours: 8 am-5:30 pm
Fee: $20 per day per child
Ages: 5-13 years
Location: The Boyd Center at Sarzotti Park, 510 Park Road.

All fun activities will be held inside and air filter masks will be provided for free.
