Ventura County Library system is preparing to implement curbside services.  

State guidelines for retail curbside pick-up were modified last week to allow libraries to provide curbside pick-up of materials, and libraries across the county have begun to reopen these limited services.

HELP Of Ojai Offering Meal Programs for Qualifying Seniors

There are currently two meal programs offering qualifying seniors three meals a day, delivered. The Ojai Restaurant and HELP of Ojai Collective is delivering 3 restaurant meals per day to valley seniors 65 and over, living alone and not receiving any Federal food assistance.

HELP of Ojai Home-Delivered Meals offers meals delivered to anyone over 60 years of age. Food pantry boxes are available for pick up by appointment at HELP’s Community Assistance Program (805)646-5122.

You may have heard that the Public Health Officer has reported that there have now been over 30 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ventura County, with the first case identified in Ojai. This should remind us that no area is immune, and emphasizes how important it is that we all do our part, and follow the State and County’s Stay Well at Home orders.
