The State of California recently announced that vaccine eligibility will expand on April 1, 2021 to those 50 or older and to those 16 or older on April 15, 2021. As the local vaccine distributor, the County of Ventura is organized and prepared to distribute the vaccine as supplies are received.

Although it is good news that vaccine eligibility is expanding, it’s important to continue to practice safe measures to protect yourself, your loved ones, and to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. Please continue to:

  • Wear a face mask
  • Practice social distancing
  • Avoid gatherings
  • Wash your hands frequently
  • Get tested if you feel sick or may have been exposed
