The County of Ventura is focused on the ability to monitor and protect our communities through testing, contact tracing, isolating and supporting those who are positive or exposed. These steps are critical on the path to reopening. Governor Newsom announced last week that the state is contracting with OptumServe to establish an additional 80 community testing sites in California to focus on high risk people including essential service workers. Two of the sites will be in the County of Ventura. Details about the sites will be announced very soon. The Governor provided 6 indicators for modifying the Stay-at-Home Order for the State yesterday. The presentation is attached. Testing is a key indicator.
