A free “Roadmap to Recovery” recovery and insurance orientation workshop for victims of the Thomas Fire will be held at the Ventura County Government Center on Monday, January 22, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the County of Ventura Hall of Administration, Board of Supervisors’ Hearing Room, 800 S. Victoria Ave., Ventura.

Workshop Topic will be: Information and guidance on first steps on the road to recovery and navigating insurance claims.

There will be free parking for the event in Parking Lot G.

Who should attend? Disaster survivors whose insured homes were damaged or destroyed in the wildfire. Attendees will receive a free copy of the “little yellow” Disaster Recovery Handbook and have the opportunity to ask questions during a Q&A portion of the program.

The workshop is presented by United Policyholders, a non-profit consumer organization that has been guiding and supporting disaster-impacted households, individuals and businesses since 1991.
