The 17th annual Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration will be held in Libbey Park on Monday, January 15, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The event is free and open to the public. It is organized by the Ojai Valley Youth Foundation.

The keynote speaker will be Das Williams. Ojai Mayor John F. Johnston will present a proclamation declaring Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in Ojai. Other speakers and performers will include Alan Thornhill, Bernie Larson, Bite Sized Jazz Combo, Gill Sotu, Jade Hendriz, James Antunez, Julija Zonic and Monica Ros Singers, Lanny Kaufer, Seamus Morrison, The Chillz, The Oak Grove Singers and Perla Batalla.

Activities will also include Chalk4Peace, a global chalk art project.
