Ojai Oversight Board
In accordance with State Law, the Ojai Oversight Board exists to oversee and make recommendations to the State regarding the assets, debts and operations of the former City of Ojai Redevelopment Agency. When the State passed legislation dissolving redevelopment agencies, it called for creation of Oversight Boards for each former redevelopment agency. Each Board is charged with ratifying decisions about what constitutes an “enforceable” debt, how the property tax that had been going to Redevelopment Agencies will be allocated, and how assets of the former Agency will be handled. The Board includes members appointed by the entities that will receive the property tax if not allocated to the successor agency (City) for these purposes.
The City of Ojai Oversight Board Members are as follows:
John McNeil | Fire Services | Ventura County Fire Protection District |
David Keebler | Vice President of Business Services |
Ventura Community Colleges District |
Jeff Burgh, MPPA | Deputy Executive Officer | County of Ventura Executive Office |

Ojai Unified School District |
Paul Blatz | City Council Member | Ojai City Council |
Eileen Atkinson | Senior Accounting Specialist | City of Ojai |
