The City of Ojai invites residents of the Ojai Valley to participate in a special Ojai Day poster competition. The poster has been an important part of the Ojai Day tradition for over 20 years. This year, in celebration of the City’s 100-year anniversary, the City is hosting a special competition, where the winner will be recognized at an upcoming City Council meeting and receive a $250 prize!

The competition, is part of a series of events and activities planned to celebrate the City of Ojai, which was incorporated on August 5, 1921. The competition is open to artists of all ages who reside within the Ojai Valley. Entries will be judged by a public art jury.

Artists are invited to submit up to three pieces of original artwork. The finished product must be reproduction compatible and submitted in color on an 8.5 x 14” template. To obtain an application please click here. To obtain a copy of the completion rules and guidelines, please click here.

All submissions must be received at the Ojai Recreation Department office, 510 Park Road or submitted via email to luis.gomez@ojai.ca.gov, no later than 12:00 PM on Friday, September 17, 2021.
