Ojai Day 2021 is right around the corner, so mark your calendars for the fun filled event! The event will take place in Libbey Park, 210 S. Signal Street, with the mandala painted around the Libbey Fountain Area, and will be held on Saturday, October 16, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The free outdoor community event will host a variety of local based vendors, local non-profits, school groups, live entertainment, and more.
The first Ojai Day was held on April 7,1917; the year Edward D. Libbey deeded the park to the newly formed Civic Association. The special day was eventually revived in 1991 as an annual event to be held on the third Saturday in October.
In celebration of the City’s 100-year anniversary, the City is hosting a special Ojai Day Poster competition, where the winner will be recognized at an upcoming City Council meeting and receive a $250 prize!
